Congratulations to popular Stonehave Gift Shop, Purdies.

On May 12th 2005, shop owner Donna Pirie, attended a glittering ceremony at London's Royal Lancaster Hotel with some of her staff.

She was presented with a Trophy for the Best UK Newcomer in retail at the Progressive Gifts and Homes Magazine Awards.

Over 500 people attended the ceremony and the Purdies contingent were ecstatic at this recognition of all the hard work they have put in since the shop opened in December 2003.

The popularity of the shop is obvious by the number of Purdie gift bags you see being carried by locals and visitors.

Donna Pirie has also set up a Flower Shop next to the main shop and shortly she will be opening a 40 seater coffee shop nearby in the Market Square.
