A networking event for those in business or thinking about starting a business was held at the St Leonards Hotel Stonehaven on Monday 18th April 2005.

The event, organised by Scottish Enterprise in association with Stonehaven Business Association and Business Gateway was well attended and delegates were given the opportunity to;-

Talk to local experts about some of the key issues affecting local business.
Discuss topics including taxation,HR, assessing finance and legal issues.
Meet, network and share ideas with other local business owners

The St Leonards provided a comfortable venue. The atmosphere was informal and an excellent light buffet was provided.

Karen Clark from Scottish Enterprise and Jacqui Christie, local Business Support officer were responsible for the arrangements for the event.

Donald Mitchell, Chairman of the SBA was encouraged by the response and in particular welcomed the opportunity to introduce the Business Association to some of the new businesses.
