Business Association Networking Evening March 05

A TASTE OF STONEHAVEN


Stonehaven Busines Association held their Annual General Meeting at the County Hotel on Monday 7th March 2005 at the County Hotel.

The short meeting was followed by a repeat of the 'Taste of Stonehaven' night which was so successful last year.

Donald Mitchell who has been appointed Chairman for a further year was delighted with the turn out and commented on the value of evenings like this because of the opportunity to meet and learn about fellow business colleagues in a social environment.

Other Office Bearers elected were:-

Treasurer: Keith Dodds
Committee Members: Alan Smith, Maureen Brown, Dennis Leiper, Raymond Milne, Raymond Douglas,Charles Sands, Donna Pirie,Lesley McDonald, Alan Robertson and George McGillivray.

  • ‘Deli-Cacies’ – the new delicatessen which has just opened in Evan Street by Alan & Jennifer Robertson.
  • ‘Kathy’s Cornucopia’ – Kathy wasdisplaying her delicious pickles, chutneys and jams.
  • ‘The Creel’ Fish Shop – a popular local fishmonger
  • ‘Molly Gunnings’ – the very popular café at the Beach which has built up an excellent reputation under Lesley Duff
  • ‘The Shell Hoosie’ – the intriguing shop at the Harbour run by Raymond and Ray Milne.
  • ‘Robertson the Bakers’ – continually producing quality baking from Peter O’Dowd and family.
  • ‘The Harbour Bakery’ – the new bakers in the High Street who are quickly building a good reputation
  • ‘The County Hotel’ – who supplied some delicious food to sample
