Following the success of the recent 'Taste of Stonehaven' networking evening, Stonehaven Business Association organised another event at St Leonards Hotel on Monday 7th June 2004, this time entitled 'Images of Stonehaven'.
Before the meeting started, Chairman Donald Mitchell paid tribute to Business Association member,Heather Aitken of Braveart who sadly passed away on Saturday 5th June.
Prior to the 'Images' presentation, long standing member Mr Hugh Ramsay was presented with a framed photograph of Dunnottar Castle having closed the doors of his shop for the last time on Saturday 5th June.Ramsays, drapers first traded in 1841 so it is fair to say the family have given loyal service to several generations of Stonehaven folk.
The picture was provided by Andy Hall and the frame by Norman Hall of IMac Frames.
This was followed by two excellent presentations from Andy Hall and Martin Sim, two local photographers, who showed Stonehaven at it's best with some wonderful slides.
Also on display throughout the evening were images from Les Black, Genevieve Leaper and Illustrator, Rob Ward.
A buffet was provided for members and guests who all enjoyed the evening.
