‘An Evening By the Seashore’ – with Stonehaven’s Maritime Rescue Institute on Monday 6 September 2004 at 6pm
Stonehaven Business Association are pleased to announce the third social evening this year, to be held at MRI headquarters at the Harbour in Stonehaven. The event is open to all in the local business community, to meet with other businesses and enjoy an evening of fascinating insight into the local Search and Rescue Team’s work. For the more adventurous, you can take to the sea in two organised boat trips and bask in the beauty of Stonehaven’s coastline, while gaining information on MRI’s valuable rescue work.
Onshore, MRI have a presentation of their work and a chance to see their new facilities. There will also be a first aid demonstration from the Search and Rescue paramedic and a group of local youths who have been working with the Institute show the work they have been doing.
The evening concludes with a mouthwatering light supper at MRI prepared by the Carron Restaurant and the opportunity to try the delicious ‘Stonehaven Wine’.
