Stonehaven Business Association organised a 'Taste of Stonehaven' evening at the County Hotel on Monday 8th March and the local business community turned out in force to sample the excellent food laid on by the following businesses

- Charles McHardy Butchers
- Molly Gunnings Cafe Bar
- E Guillanotti
- J & M Fraser Organic Produce
- Shell Hoosie
- Robertson the Baker
The display was very impressive and the quality of goods on display was of a very high standard.
Local Trader Raymond Milne of Shell Hoosie made a special ice cream cake for the occassion.
The large crowd of around 100 enjoyed sampling the local fare and those taking part were delighted with the enthusiastic response.
The Business Association was very pleased with the success of this event which followed a short AGM when the following office bearers were re-elected.

Treasurer - Keith Dodds
Committee Members - Maureen Brown, Raymond Douglas,Eric Innes Dennis Leiper,Raymond Milne,George McGillivray and Peter O'Dowd.
Local Business Support Officer Jacqui Christie was very impressed with the turnout and several new members joined the Association taking the membership to over 100 for the first time.
Aberdeenshire Council were represented by local area manager, Willie Munro who has been a tremendous support to the Business Association
More volunteers are required to help with various fund raising projects throughout the year and all members are encouraged to do a little bit to help the Association improve the town.
This event went a long way towards gaining more support from local businesses as those attending enjoyed the networking opportunity and it is very likely this exercise will be repeated next year.
