This years event seemed to attract even more musicians to the Jamming Sessions in the local pubs.

Charlie Watson of the Belvedere Hotel reported that the Saturday was his best ever day since he took over the hotel about 16 months ago.

Queens
Tom Wilson of the Queens Hotel reported a fantastic weekend. He has never seen so many musicians in his pub. He said everybody had

The Traditional Bearers' Concert at the St Leonards on Sunday afternoon was a sell out.

The Festival organisers were delighted with their 15th Festival and now after a short break will get down to planning next years event.

Sandy

Congratulations to the Festival Committee for all their hard work in staging this event which just seems to get even more popular each year.

Sandy Splitt shown on the right came from Devon to Montrose 5 years ago to visit his niece who took him to Stonehaven for the day not knowing anything about the Folk Festival.
He enjoyed himself so much he has returned every year since and involved himself in the jamming sessions.

' I just love the atmosphere', he said.

That sums up the view of most people attending and that can only be good for Stonehaven.
